Springfield School District Projects

Working with the Springfield School District, Cameron McCarthy has been the lead consultant providing design services on numerous athletic facility projects, including Hamlin Middle School, Springfield High School, and Thurston High School. Track and field improvements for Springfield High School and Thurston High School are ongoing and nearly complete.

Hamlin Middle School, the District’s newest school, is centrally located in the urban core of the city, allowing for the entire community to access the campus easily via cars, transit, bikes, and walking. CM designed and administered the construction of an 8-lane track, synthetic turf soccer/ football/lacrosse field, a natural turf soccer field, basketball courts, and a safety netting system. Cameron McCarthy provided comprehensive landscape architectural services with specific expertise given to the athletic facilities on campus.
