Beaverton School District Projects

For more than a decade, Cameron McCarthy has provided design services for the Beaverton School District on a variety of projects.  As part of two different bond programs, we worked closely with the District to replace Vose, Sato, Hazeldale, William Walker, and Raleigh Elementary Schools, Timberland Middle School, and the Arts & Communication Magnet Academy (high school).  We crafted the districts outdoor play and education specification and assisted them with the creation and/or replacement of seven playgrounds.  We have provided design and implementation services on more than ten (10) athletics focused projects including new tracks and fields, conversions from natural to synthetic surfaces, and turf replacements.  Our design of Sunset High School’s Multi-Purpose Field was recognized by the American Sports Builders Association as the recipient of the 2017 National Distinguished Facility Award.
