OSU Whyte Track and Field Center

After a 16-year hiatus, OSU revived its track program with women’s track and cross country in 2004. In 2007, our firm was retained to complete concept design and, in 2010, was hired to complete construction documentation for 3 phases of implementation. Phase one included 9-lane 400-meter track accommodations for all field events and a synthetic turf infield. Phase two included additional field events for pole vault, javelin, hammer throw, spectator features, and infrastructure to make it competition-ready.  Phase three includes the main entry plaza, restroom building, grandstand, parking lot perimeter fencing, and walks.  Phase three was completed in 2023.  Our firm provided the lead design of all track and field and site improvements and worked in collaboration with DLR Architects
