Cameron McCarthy worked closely with the Sisters community to develop and adopt a comprehensive Parks Master Plan for the long-term development and maintenance of the park system. Based on extensive public involvement, the plan identifies key strategies for park siting, park development, and funding to better serve the residents of Sisters. As a part of this process, Cameron McCarthy developed three park concepts, incorporated into the Plan, that reflect local and neighborhood recreation and facility needs. The Parks Master Plan was adopted unanimously by the City Council and the Sisters Parks Advisory Board. One of the initial park design concepts was Fir Street Park. Cameron McCarthy assisted Sisters in refining the concept and preparing an illustrative plan and cost estimate for a successful grant award.
