PK Park is the University of Oregon’s new baseball stadium complex in Eugene, Oregon. Cameron McCarthy designed and administered the first phase of this project, which includes installation of synthetic turf ball field, bullpens, player development/training areas, fencing, scoreboard, video board and temporary spectator facilities. The emphasis of the second phase was to implement the stadium structure, plazas and other site improvements. We acted as a sub-consultant to the stadium architects during this phase. Throughout both phases of the project we worked extensively with Eugene planning staff to meet the Willamette River Greenway and statewide planning Goal 15 requirements. The project was awarded the 2012 Single Field of the Year by the American Sports Builders Association.
