The project encompassed 2 blocks of street replacement and enhancement in Oregon State University’s historic Lower Campus. Enhancements included new setback sidewalks, raised crossings, bicycle lanes, landscaping and gateway monuments at the prominent Jefferson Street intersection. The project improved circulation for pedestrians and bicyclists. It also improved OSU’s identity and wayfinding. Our firm collaborated with OSU engineers on the design. We were responsible for comprehensive design of walks, plazas, site furniture, landscaping and the ornamental gateway features. Our services included cost estimation, bid/permit documents and construction administration.
