Cameron McCarthy was the prime planning and design consultant for the bond-funded, 3.1 mile multi-use path extending from the Middle Fork Path, along the Mill Race channel, to the Booth-Kelly site in downtown Springfield. Cameron McCarthy worked closely with Sherman County, Mid-Columbia Economic Development District, and the City of Rufus to develop a Conceptual Master Plan for a 98-acre linear park along the Columbia River. Sherman County is the only Oregon county with frontage along the Columbia River without a county or city waterfront park.
