Ali joined Cameron McCarthy in 2014. As the Marketing Associate, she is in charge of the firm’s RFP/RFQ materials and media outreach. On select design and planning projects, Ali contributes supporting illustrations and publication design.
Education & Professional Expertise
Ali is a graduate of the University of Oregon’s Bachelor of Architecture program, and has completed one year of study in Landscape Architecture. At UO, she has worked for Campus Planning and Real Estate, the Baker Lighting Lab, and was a student-leader at designBridge, a campus organization that offers affordable design/build services to other community organizations in the local area.
Ali’s multi-disciplinary design background and focus on marketing enhance Cameron McCarthy’s ability to swiftly generate appealing and sensible content in support of pursuits led by partnering architecture and engineering firms. Her design support on projects enhances the communication of design ideas and the professional quality of our reports. This involvement greatly benefits design review and approval by project constituents and with subsequent fundraising campaigns, when applicable.
Volunteer work has also played a large part in shaping Ali’s professional and lifelong aspirations. Her most formative volunteer experiences have been with youth education programs, such as Farm to School and the Friends of Buford Park Native Plant Nursery.
Ali has lived in the Pacific Northwest for a majority of her life, which has greatly formed who she is today. In her spare time, she loves to escape to the wild for backpacking adventures, to play with plants and fermentation projects, and also to knit. She is admittedly addicted to doodling, square dancing and beets.
